From their first day at RPGIS, our students are taught to acquire the skills, qualities and duties that equip them to succeed and flourish as they develop into responsible adults. Their learning is holistic, connected, and transdisciplinary. We are an IBPYP authorised school and follow IB PYP curriculum* for primary years. The curriculum is delivered within a framework composed of units of enquiry, each of which teaches and assesses from a range of elements, disciplines, themes, and approaches to learning.

Nurturing Curiosity, Inspiring Growth
The PYP is designed for students aged 3 to 12 years, focusing on the development of inquiry-based learning, international-mindedness, and exploration across a range of subjects. We believe in empowering our young learners to explore their interests, develop their strengths, and embrace challenges with confidence. Key features of our PYP:
We encourage students to ask questions, seek answers, and develop a deep understanding of concepts through hands-on activities and real-world experiences.
Through a transdisciplinary approach, our students gain a rich understanding of different cultures, languages, and global issues, fostering empathy and open-mindedness.
We focus on nurturing social, emotional, and physical development alongside academic growth, ensuring well-rounded individuals.
Students engage in group projects, discussions, and teamwork, fostering effective communication and cooperation skills.
These attributes represent a broad range of human capacities and responsibilities that go beyond academic success.
We nurture our curiosity, developing skills for inquiry and research. We know how to learn independently and with others. We learn with enthusiasm and sustain our love of learning throughout life.
We develop and use conceptual understanding, exploring knowledge across a range of disciplines. We engage with issues and ideas that have local and global significance.
We use critical and creative thinking skills to analyze and take responsible action on complex problems. We exercise initiative in making reasoned, ethical decisions.
We express ourselves confidently and creatively in more than one language and in many ways. We collaborate effectively, listening carefully to the perspectives of other individuals and groups.
We act with integrity and honesty, with a strong sense of fairness and justice, and with respect for the dignity and rights of people everywhere. We take responsibility for our actions and their consequences.
We critically appreciate our own cultures and personal histories, as well as the values and traditions of others. We seek and evaluate a range of points of view, and we are willing to grow from the experience.
